Given this is a destination wedding and the venue can only accommodate a set number of people, we are not able to grant all guests a plus one. If you have a plus one, it will be noted on your Save The Date, RSVP form, and the formal invitation (which will be sent to you later this year). We apologize for any inconvenience this causes!
-
While we love your children, this will be an adults-only celebration. Thank you for your understanding!

Accommodations, food, and drink will be covered for the weekend. Each morning there will be a light breakfast of pastries, fruit, etc. provided. The kitchens on property will be stocked with soft drinks and snacks for the taking. A light lunch on Friday will be provided for those who stay on the property; those who participate in the Saint Émilion excursion will find plenty of places to eat in town. Dinner on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will be provided per our schedule.
Guests will need to book their own travel to France (i.e. flights, trains, car rentals, etc.). If you choose to participate in the shuttle be provide between the Château and Bordeaux, that will be covered.

Flights for late May-early June 2024 are now starting to become available. We recommend you begin looking soon and book whenever you feel comfortable!

For the wedding itself, we ask that you dress in formal attire. Think: suits (ties optional!), floor- or tea-length dresses, pantsuits, or dressy jumpsuits. As far as colors go, please avoid white and neon hues. When it comes to shoes, our ceremony will be on grass, but the rest of the evening will be indoors/on patios.
For the Welcome Dinner on Friday, please dress in semi-formal/dressy casual attire. Think: dresses of any length, a dressy skirt and top, jumpsuits, pantsuits, or a dress shirt and slacks. Again, please avoid white and neon hues.
For the rest of the weekend, dress as you’d like. :)

In early June, the average highs in La Roche-Chalais are in the 80s, while the lows are in the mid-50s. It’s typically dry and sunny; but best to pack something suitable just in case of rain! Many of the wedding events will be outside, so please plan to pack sunglasses, shawls, or whatever else you need for sun protection. You can use weather.com to see what the weather was like in La Roche-Chalais during June 2023.
-
Once you check the weather, you should be all set to pack! We recommend packing anything you think you’ll want should it get cool or rain.
In addition to clothing for the Welcome Dinner and wedding (see the Dress Code FAQ above), you’ll want to pack clothing for other days, a bathing suit (if you plan to swim), toiletries, electronics (including an adaptor!), comfortable/regular shoes, your passport, wallet, and license, and any other items you typically travel with.
If you have questions on how to pack appropriately in terms of security, we recommend checking out the TSA website!
Towels, linens, soap, shampoo/conditioner, and toilet paper are provided.
-
Body soap, shampoo, and conditioner will be provided in each bathroom!
Additionally, towels, linens, and toilet paper (duh) will also be provided.
Anything you need outside of that, please plan to bring!
-
Please visit the Travel page to learn more about how to get to and from the wedding!

Yes! Feel free to pack your bathing suit and flip flops. One thing: no glassware will be allowed by the pool.

It depends! There are some irons in the common areas on the property—just remember a lot of folks might be using them, so don’t wait til the last minute!
There is a steamer in the bridal suite that guests can ask to borrow prior to Saturday.
If you know you’re the type to leave something like this until the last minute (no shame, Kasey is the same way!), you might want to consider purchasing a travel iron/steamer to bring with you so you’re not reliant on one of the shared ones!
